2012 Course Schedule
CRICKET COACH EDUCATION AT PARKLANDS COLLEGE
Western Province Cricket Association is pleased to announce that a Level One Coaching Course will be held in the Parklands / Table View area with commencement on Monday 16th April at 6pm;
Five subsequent modules will be held on Monday evenings; see dates & times below.
The venue will be the brand new Parklands College campus in Sandown Road.
Enrolment is open now and potential candidates over the age of 18 can follow the procedure below.

The Level One Course is designed to enable successful candidates to coach cricket skills and to organize effective practice & training sessions for cricketers at any junior level.
They need some understanding of cricket but do not require any specific coaching experience;
The course will include an introduction to the principles of Long Term Participant Development or LTPD.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must have access to a PC or laptop.

CSA LEVEL TWO COURSES AT NEWLANDS
WPCA are pleased to announce that thereare two Coach Education (Level Two) course opportunities available in the nextfew months;
Registration is now open for BOTHcourses which will be held at Sahara Park Newlands;
NBA Level Two candidate needs to be at least 21 years of age; he / she shouldhave been a holder of a CSA Level One certificate for a year or be a previouslyaccredited Level Two coach (under the UCB structure)
The first course will start on MondayApril 16th and will be held in the mornings (09h30 – 12h30);this course concludes on May 21st (8 modules);
Another course will start on TuesdayMay 15th and will be run in the evenings (18h00 – 20h30); course concludes on June 14th (10 modules).
Registration for both these isessential and must be done NOW through my office only.

Winter Training Course
Please be advised that W.P.C.U.A. will be starting their Umpires winter training course on the 9th – 23rd June 2012 every Saturday. The course will end with an examination on the 23rd June 2012.
The cost of the course will be R280 and will include a Law book as well as all training material. Refreshments will be served
