CRICKET fans in Cape Town can brace themselves for a second consecutive RAM SLAM Final when the Nashua Cape Cobras take on the Chevrolet Knights in Friday’s finale.
The Cobras finished top of the log and automatically qualified for a home final, while the Knights booked their spot thanks to an eight-wicket victory over the bizhub Highveld Lions yesterday.
Tickets for the big match are already on sale and can be bought online via www.ticketpro.co.za , through Postnet outlets or at the stadium ticket office at Newlands.
The price for tickets range from R40-R80.
Last year’s final was sold out and fans are urged once again to get their tickets early.
It’s also the final opportunity for fans to participate in the “Win a Million” competition where South African citizens, over the age of 18, can win a share of a Million Rand by taking a clean one-handed catch.
Currently, two fans have qualified for this fantastic prize – Bosman Puren and Kallie van der Merwe.
SuperSport 2’s coverage of the final commences at 17h30 with the final starting at 18h00.
The final will also be televised live by BSkyB in the UK and Sony Six on the Indian sub-continent, further providing global appeal to the tournament.
